London Eye

After two days of snow showers in London, it snowed properly today and started to lie. There were a couple of inches even in the center of the city.

We went to the Royal Festival Hall to meet W&J and baby Otto, B&C, E and J for lunch, which was delicious. It was great to catch up.

On the way we stopped to grab some snowy snaps, including this one. The London Eye looks a bit drunk from this angle, and the Palace of Westminster is fuzzy behind curtains of swirling snow.

I write this sitting in Stansted Airport, waiting for our fllght home. At the moment it is showing a delay of nearly two hours, and we're just hoping it doesn't end up being cancelled altogether!
