Already!

A busy day.   We started with meeting a rep at the studio, then an appointment in town followed by a long session at "Another Weigh" measuring out spices for Clickychick's own recipe curry powder.  Then off to the Lodge to complete planting the conifers, after lunch of course.  With the planting finished it was a final tidy up ready for tomorrow's guests.

While planting the conifers I noticed that the Elder (Sambucus niger) "Black Lace" was already showing half inch (1 cm) shoots.  For anybody in doubt common Elder is Sambucus niger Black Lave has dark purple/black cut leaves hence its name.  The flowers are a nice shade of pink as well.
