Spring

With every passing year, I grow to love Spring more and more and more. I always thought I was a summer kinda girl, but it’s the promise and the hope of Spring that makes it the best season. I love watching the world wake up from it’s (long) slumber.

I made sure I left my desk at lunchtime to go and walk around the Quarry Park and drink in all the spring delights. I realise that I am peaking too early, but I don’t care. These little glimpses are enough for me. Both on my lunchtime stroll and my afternoon ride home, there was plenty of life on the river, as the rowing season begins.

I even walked around to the shop when I got home, so desperate was I to remain outdoors.

Just a joyous day of early Spring.
