Snowdrops And Aconites

I thought it time to visit the local not-a-pond to see how the signs of spring were getting on. I am a little late for the aconites but there are plenty of snowdrops and the ramsons are starting to show their bright green garlicky leaves. But there was no sign of the primroses, which usually flower around this time.
I did spot a small flock of redwing passing through but too far away for a photo, the robin was singing his territorial song and was not minded to move from his perch way up in the tree.
