A quiet day catching up with household task, admin and other bits and pieces and none the worse for that. 

I love these old barns which I pass when I walk into town via the golf course and the Cuilc, where six swans were reported yesterday. Today it is back to four - one pair in the water and one pair without. 

I watched the Windermere Children last night - a true  and incredibly moving account of a group of refugee children who survived the concentrations camps. It was very  well done and captured the alienation they must have all felt. However what I found the most remarkable was the positivity of the surviving members whom they interviewed at the end and in more depth in associated documentary. Well worth viewing.
