Yes, another tram blip ....

The crazy times in HK continue ...
it’s actually ridiculous. Today’s latest “scare/crisis” was toilet paper running out in super markets.

The fear of the border crossings being closed has set people in panic mode as they fear supplies won’t come from China. The fact that toilet paper comes from all over the world on ships is irrelevant, but the panic spread across HK and shelves were empty, as seen in the pic in the extra! Also there is a fear that China will stop supplying paper needed to make toilet rolls to HK, and so people are hoarding. Or perhaps using them to make face masks OR using them as filters in their masks, so they can use one mask more than once since you can’t get them anywhere. Again, in spite of the fact that there are other brands that come from the rest of the world! Just to put it into perspective ... There have been 24 cases of Coronavirus in HK, just 24!

I’ve been wanting to get a pic of this tram for about two weeks now, and today was the day! Our bus was crossing right in front of it and actually stopped! I love the ‘whiskers’ front!

On the way home, Ben and I did a quick shop and thankfully the supply of toilet paper was being replenished. So we did get some and for a friend too ... people are ordering toilet paper on Amazon!!!!!

Still no hand sanitizer and masks in HK!
