Stones and Bones

Today we visited the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. The new dinosaur hall was opened last year after being closed for renovation for five years. This is the first time we have visited since the renovation. We were very impressed. There are so many interactive features. The displays are riveting. 
The elephant is not part of the dino hall. He is Henry, and has held court in the main hall of the museum for longer than I can remember. My mom affectionately called the museum "Stones and Bones" because it displays, well...stones and bones, and a whole lot more.
Shooting inside without a tripod was tricky, but I had a lot of fun and had some fun results (extras.)
