Silver

Silver birches on the golf course, some of my favourite trees - they’re thin, so easier to miss. Wasn’t quite so muddy this morning, the wind’s been drying things out a bit, and I snuck a win at the last so overall pretty good.
Then the sun appeared and we went for a wander in the afternoon, didn’t want to waste it after all. Not far, just a mini Water of Leith circuit for an hour or so. Crocuses, snowdrops and wild primroses are blooming, winter jasmine and cherry blossom are everywhere, most trees are already in bud. It’s all a bit too early for the bugs I think, a hard frost and they’ll be history.
