Renovation

Every time I pass West Register House it seems to have wrapped more scaffolding around itself. One day I’ll wander by and it’ll all have magically disappeared but that’s probably years away.
I’d just come back from lunching in Peebles, not a typical outing but the old golfing crew were meeting up with Ian Mac and Mrs Mac who’re over from Islay for tomorrow’s match at Murrayfield. No golf for Ian anymore, the years of rugby injuries have finally slowed him down too much. Hasn’t slowed his story telling any though, so we were well entertained over lunch!
