Today's the day . . . . . . . to paint your house

Another of our favourite places that we have to go and visit when we find ourselves in this part of Wales - the little seaside port of Aberaeron on the Cardiganshire coast.

It seems that every single building in the town has had a fresh coat of paint - and there has been no holding back when it comes to the colour.  Amazingly it all seems to work too.  They all seem to blend into each other in a crazy, jolly sort of way - and always look cheerful whatever the weather.

Funnily enough, we were here exactly four years ago when the weather conditions were very extreme!  (Look at the following day to see how bad it was)

Not today though.  All was peaceful and as ever, it was lovely to spend a few hours here . . .  . . .
