Spring lambs

Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . . . for the calm before the storm

A day spent locally doing a variety of things.

We went for a walk and found the house (see extra) where Will's parents retired to when they gave up the farm.  The present owners kindly let us walk round the garden and have a bit of a nosey.  It all looked in good shape - and brought back lots of happy memories of past times.

We watched two rugby matches in the Six Nations Championship - both of which had the wrong result.  We were in a pub in deepest rural Wales to watch England v Scotland in the Calcutta Cup and it was very gratifying to find that everyone present was routing for Scotland to win.  Shame it was not to be!

And these are the first lambs that I have seen this year, already looking strong and healthy.  We're in for some very blustery and wet weather tonight so I hope they're somewhere safe and sheltered . . . . . . . . . .
