To market, to market

After the usual perusal of the Saturday papers it was off to that Leith Farmers’ Market. I tell you, that place is only for the well off. Extremely well off. OK, sausage rolls at £4.50 each, fair enough but £7 for six tomatoes.. but then again, I guess these are the sorts of prices you actually ought to be paying for people to actually make a living, otherwise we end up with workers on minimum wages and nothing but huge agribusinesses.
Anyway, home to cook up a breakfast of two scrambled eggs and some of my home grown oyster mushrooms! It’s the future. I better get hens.

Back to watch the Calcutta Cup at Murrayfield - with the wind whistling and the rain tippling down it was a pretty dire game to watch. And we lost. Again. Not quite as unwatchable as the Falkirk - Hearts game. Literally.
There’s also been an Irish election. Apparently (usual source) there’s anger at "homelessness, soaring rents and disintegrating healthcare services." Sounds familiar.
