A little rain shower.....

As with most of country, we have had strong winds overnight, with the rain arriving first thing this morning..  The rain was running like a river down the street (middle shot).  The trees in the back garden, what you could see through the rain soaked windows (left and right shots ) were bending over, the magnolia looked as if it would fall over.  Luckily the only damage was to the bird feeders, most finished on the floor.  The goldfinches were bravely carrying on though, as two of the nyger seed feeders were still attached, although swinging wildly.  I hope you are all keeping safe and warm.
