Snowing sideways

News on the CBC this morning tells of the storm many of you have faced today. The Blips here show the evidence of the wind and rain there.

We can’t compare here on the Canadian prairies, but I was surprised at the quick dust up that appeared outside our front window. The wind is out of the west and so it’s snowing sideways here. As I say, more of a surprise than anything.

But I need to get my coat and boots on and walk over to the church for the morning activities. Today a pancake breakfast is planned. Then Sunday school, and worship.
