Rain lashed

Looking out of a window streaming with rain, I could see that the little daffodils seem to be surviving. I have been watching anxiously as the many trees thrash about in the wind and rain, but all have survived so far. However I think every flower pot in the garden is on its side! Social media tells me there is a tree down across one of the main roads in the village. I think the storm seems to be abating, I hope I haven’t spoken too soon!
