A trifle windy

The wind had begun to rise while Basil and I were at Dimminsdale yesterday. It was howling by the time we got to bed. Basil was unsettled.

Heavy rain set off the flood alarms in Shepshed but I haven't been out of the house to see just how high the water rose. We even had blue skies this afternoon.

Today has not turned out well. I had intended to get my lighting kits up and tested, only to discover eventually that the flash trigger works only with Canon cameras. Not so many in camera club with Canons these days. I feel like giving up.

Thus today is a hotch potch of phone photos intended to indicate movement of the trees. Don't ask?
