Storm Ciara

Rained most of yesterday and all night - REALLY rained! The wind was the worst bit, with gusts around 70mph. We woke (after an indifferent night's sleep) looked out of the windows, and saw flooding over the fields between Keswick and Portinscale. A trip over there gave me the main blip. The extras show how close the River Greta got to the glass flood protection screens over the bridge in Keswick. Not as high as 2015, but high enough. Appleby had it bad, with floods through the town, but Keswick escaped the worst - so far.
