Slippery when wet!

I visited the Ashness landing stage today - well, I visited the steps down from the road - -there was no way of getting onto the shoreline at all (though the water levels are about 1 - 2 feet lower than yesterday).  I loved the mid-distant jetty posts sticking out the lake, but was amused by the rather optimistic ferry timetable and the "slippery when wet" sign.

At least this jetty looks like it may have survived - lots of the landing stage jetties are badly damaged and will all need rebuilding again.
