Sunny Bournemouth

Woke up to bright sun. Apart from a few minutes of grey (and did I see a couple of snowflakes?), it has stayed bright for most of the day. So it had to be a walk on the beach (and to see the goats).

Walked along the clifftop, sadly no goats. Then down to and along Boscombe Pier, which is the subject of my blip. Watched the rolling waves, and admired the views (which we see most days) over to the Isle of Wight and the Purbecks.

Then walked home along the beachfront. Spotted one goat high up on the cliff. Much of the promenade still thick with sand from Ciara. The brick wall and stairs down to the beach had disappeared under a good metre or so of sand. The Council Beachfront Office have a big job there clearing it all up.

Mr B went to tennis in the afternoon. I had a rest on the (enclosed) balcony in the sun. A rare treat.
