A change in the weather and a change of theme from tulips.  Wind, hail, icy-snow as opposed to wind, wind and lashings of storm driven rain (our area of grass at the top of the steps becomes more like a sodden marsh every day - not helped by the pheasants!)

Lunch with my brother at the Travellers Inn, which was very good.
There was no snow in Wakefield and he didn’t encounter it until he drove up the hill at Hoylandswaine.

As I write this the top of the hill is still looking white, but apart from a few pockets of snow in the garden, though I’ve just taken a phone message from our Tai Chi tutor to say that Sheffield is bad and that he doesn’t think he’ll get down the hill.  So Tai Chi is cancelled this morning.
