Neither one nor t'other

There no use hiding it by producing sparkling interior blips, today is definitely one of the grimmest days of this winter. Cold wet, grey, miserable, totally unrelenting winter weather. There was the hope of a decent snowfall which would have put a bright patina on everything and given plenty of scope for interesting landscapes but this was not to be. As I trudged through the woods today with the dog I could not help but think of Siberian winters and how awful it must be to live for several weeks or months in this grey, cold hinterland. If my blip doesn't inspire you today, don't blame me as I am only trying to paint a true picture !! Mutter, mutter, mutter....
