Spectra Aberdeen

The theme for the Spectra Aberdeen Light Festival this year is Scotland's Coasts and Waters. Consequently for the next week or so there is an Octopus emerging from the depths in front of Marischal College, and adjacent to a fountain, which at this moment was turned off. I presume the octopus is illuminated in the evening.

By happy coincidence water is the theme for Wide Wednesday, and so the  theme  coincides with the Spectra theme. Unfortunately the octopus is rather distant, on the far right, but it is there!

I have taken panorama views of the building in the past, but always in a way the perspective is displayed correctly. Today I took the pictures (4 in this case), from the same spot. As a result of merging the pictures, the building appears to curve. In front of me Robert the Bruce is on horseback displaying a proclamation..

It was windy and cloudy when I was in town this morning. The cloud cleared later in the day.
