The Shape Of Water

I played around with shutter speed to see the effect on the ripples and also my angle of view which determined the reflections of trees and sky. In the end I preferred my second shot in the series because of the shape of the water and how dark it is contrasted against the snow.

The result seems to be quite calming, reflecting on the constant flow of water and its impact on the ice. The title has a double meaning, which appeals to me, in that the frozen ice has a shape, but so does the liquid water shaped by the snow/ice on either side.
