Whaka sculpture

This whaka sculpture sits on the banks of the Avon River near work. I couldn't spot anything to tell me more about it. It's an inviting piece to engage and interact with.

With nothing to stop people from climbing or sitting on it, I guess that's intentional. I was on a mission to walk and test my broken toe further. That seemed enough without risking a toe slipping between the gaps.

I'm about to turn a load of home grown basil into pesto before the white butterfly caterpillars steal it. Little buggers, they devour just about anything.

Today's gratitude: For a good balance at work today.
