Aftermath

Well storm Ciara was interesting last night. Lots of wind that managed to blow open the bathroom window at 6:30 this morning and send things flying. At one point I thought we were going to have to tie it to the taps to keep it closed but we managed in the end. Then there was a tree uprooted in the garden too*.

Amazingly it wasn't just us affected. Owen and me decided to go swimming, only to find the road closed. So we parked up and walked the rest of the way, only to find out that the roof had blown off or was damaged and the pool was closed. No matter, we'll go to the park instead. So we went home and walked to the park, only to find the footpath closed too!

We eventually got to the park for a few minutes by taking the long way round.
