Ripe figs for breakfast

If only they were freshly picked!  I found them in a small container on a top shelf in the supermarket.  Their figs are usually much larger but these were like little bullets but so delicious with Greek yoghurt!

It is so good to have the internet and telephone back.  I had been off since last Sunday following Storm Ciara.  It took Outreach a day and a half to mend all the faults on the line and most of the time the men were in the mud in the next door field dealing with lines that had been blown off their poles.  They will go underground "one day" they tell me, goodness knows when.

Now we are buttoning down the hatches for Storm Dennis.
