Respite In A Snow Storm

Conveniently, or possibly by design, there is a rest stop on the highway, half way home. It's a long enough drive anyway, but in a snow storm with many slow downs for accidents, I was glad of the break.

I took the opportunity to take a few shots and I think this one stood out for me because of the branch coming out horizontally from the trees. It gives something of a centre of interest to the image.

I also liked the touch of colour from the few remaining leaves and the grasses in the corner in a predominantly monochrome image.
