Resting...

It's difficult to photograph the resident black swans at Trentham Gardens. They're so use to being fed that if you stop they automatically waddle over to you, and get too close to photograph.

Today they'd been well fed and were snoozing. That gave me a perfect opportunity to take a few shots. 

The adults arrived a few years ago and successfully bred 4 young last year. They're a real attraction for visitors, as they're not as big or aggressive as mute swans.
