Emerging Hellebore.....

There are a few flowers in the garden to use for a photo when I've not been out and about. I've quite a collection of hellebores to choose from. Their leaves have quite serrated edges, and this emerging bud just reminded me of a crab's claw.....

I met a few old work colleagues for brunch this morning.

And made food for my other half and his sister and her husband this evening. They'd come down for the evening to go and watch Preston North End play Stoke. Rather them than me, it was a cold evening! I was just the taxi driver.
