Mother and child

Arrived early, ahead of a meeting and thought that I'd check if this statue had survived the ongoing development.

I remember it from visits as a child. 

The nearby ex post office has not been as fortunate (see extra) A passer by told me that it had been in this state of halfness since before Christmas.  I imagine it will be long gone when next I pass that way.
