Lucky throw

It was misty and cool this morning, despite the forecast of sunshine all day. We hung around all morning thinking it would clear. It didn't, but we decided to go out anyway, hoping it would be clearer inland

It was; good choice! We had already decided to go to Kitty Harri's sculpture garden again. We got there about 12:30, when the mountain peaks were wreathed in thin veils of mist. It soon lifted, and we hung out around the pool having met various people we know: C and a visiting friend, M the violinist, and the campervan couple staying in the other half of our house. Once again we spent ages just wandering about soaking up the atmosphere and admiring the views. I didn't take as many photos as last time, no need; there's a few more in the album by clicking right from here.

The good thing about being a tourist in Spain is that you can get up late, dawdle about all morning, have another drink, and still hit a restaurant for lunch; we arrived at La Bahia in Salobreña at 3:30 and shared a salad and a pizza. Despite the weather still being cloudy and cool on the coast, it was madly busy. It's a large restaurant; I wouldn't be surprised if they served 400 covers for lunch, and given that turnover the food is really excellent.

Back home, and out to the Backstop later for a rendezvous with S and T, since they are leaving here and flying to Dublin tomorrow. As we have the car we're taking some bits and pieces back to France for them.
