A day in the life

By Shelling

Wind and water

In 2018 we had an extremely hot summer with hardly any rain and the island was in a state of crisis because the ground water levels had gone lower than anyone could remember and the water reserves was nearly used up. Lots of things has happened since then, dams has been built, we have saved water and had new and bigger water pipelines from the mainland to secure a basic level of water. Through the last couple of years we've had more rain and this winter has helped enormously to restore the ground water. Now farmland are full of little lakes due to the rain and the wells are filling up.

Dennis is whizzing about outside, and has done so the last couple of days. This morning we had an interesting sky, reflecting all the different kinds of weather for this day (extra).
