Beyond Cold

Temperatures plummeted overnight and by midday, when I went out to photograph, had dropped to 11°F heading toward a low of -3°F by the next morning.

Even with my heated glove liners I struggled to operate the camera and was surprised the battery didn't die.

I tried to capture the line of snow on the fallen tree winding its way through the frame. It was pretty chaotic and I'm not sure I made the best of it, but I think the image conveys the deep cold feeling I was after.

I also posted for yesterday today.
