Thinking of Spring

Dear Diary,

Pussy Willows always make me think of spring.  I picked a small bunch up when I was in Portland on Sunday.  I have never been able to find them growing anywhere around me but I just have to have a few in the house at this time of year. They make me happy.   I'm waiting for the snow to start, although they say it won't be a big fall.  That will make me happy too!  The groundhog promised an early spring and I'm hoping he is right.
