Fishers' Bothy

A few showers.  When they came they weren’t timid.  I prepared my script for tonight; the ribbon needs replacing.  I then phoned my whisky broker, in Inversnecky, and he’s promised to mend his ways.  The WI have a meeting tonight where it will be debated whether Dave Holland expresses himself better in a trio, his infamous quintet or his Octet (over brassed?).  Maybe there’s hope for us yet.  I had a weak moment early today I caught myself listening to the radio; it was Jim Al-Khalili coming through loud and clear on Hilversum.



Petula Clark is still 87.  She’s never visited Nuneaton.
