Berry longlegs

An EB of our pet Springer/giraffe cross!! She's going to be a tall beastie ... and can run like the clappers on those legs, as demonstrated every day :-) She's actually resting - her second good walk of the day seems to have tired her out for a while.

We had a couple of estate agents in to value the house so I was up early to run the vacuum round. I drew the line at washing the kitchen floor; absolutely no point whatsoever just at the moment! We'll wait and see what the agents say.

Otherwise today we were victims of appliance obsolescence. Our washing machine (good brand, bought new from John Lewis less than 4 years ago) was unfixable (just needed new bearings) as everything internal was encased in plastic and totally unreachable. Infuriating. To mend it was an arm and a leg so yes, dear reader, we have ordered a new machine.

Our washing machine engineer told us an interesting fact. Half of these good brand machines are made in Germany and Poland and are the great quality you'd expect. The other half are made in Spain and China .... So if the price seems too good to be true, it is. Feels like a con to me.
