Wednesday: Sewing

It rained all day :-((
Goldfinch, sparrows and blue tits busy tearing bits off the dead flower heads of globe artichoke in front garden this morning, nesting material and maybe something edible too!? https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2480100337596237759
An afternoon of sewing: finished off the lavender bags with tassels, made 9 small cushion key rings  - like these https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2625457687835443971  - they need buttons sewn on, beads added, etc.
Also repaired my friend’s fine ball-chain necklace, I thought I might have to wrap fine wire to join the 2 pieces but I remembered that I had some connectors which were small enough and gave rather a neat repair!
Bedtime and weather atrocious, howling wind and driving rain ...
