Pole Dancers

We decided to spend a couple of hours in Abergavenny (South Wales, UK) before collecting granddaughter Amelia from nursery. Driving through Newport, having just exited the M4, I saw that the football pitch was flooded and gulls were making the most of the water and sun that had come out after a torrid mornings rain.

I like the way they're all lined up, like some goal line technology for lower league sides! Every so often some would fly off and other gulls would land.
