The wind was cruel at Longshaw today, and although we we were far from run off our feet, we were still surprised by the number of visitors who turned out.
Tomorrow the cafe will close its doors for the last time until it reopens in its new resplendent form - probably in about a year’s time. In the meantime, the catering staff will be operating a greatly reduced service from a trailer and a cabin. No sign of the trailer yet, and the cabin still has a way to go. However, the new offices are up and running and looking very good indeed.
