Barry The Bear

Barry the bear is awarded to a child in the class who has done particularly well at something and they get to take him home for the weekend or, in this case, the holiday. Last time it was Tony the tiger.

The recipients of these treats also get to take home Barry's scrapbook/journal in which they are encouraged to write about the adventures he had with them and stick in photos.

Of course I was keep to have my photos in Barry's story and helped #1 Daughter print them out. This was Barry with Emily as we enjoyed a meal in a local pub before setting off home. 

An uneventful journey but we got home to find our garden had been flooded even worse than when we were away a fortnight ago. Mud everywhere and gravel heaped up onto the grass by the fast flowing water.
