Drive by

Off the beaten track in Bath again today, walking from a railway station on the edge of the city to pick up a hire car (as you do) along a piece of road that I drive along often, walk along never (and nor do many people, bar a few runners). The road has the more industrial end of the river on one side and the railway on the other (towering above the road over brick arches). It's all a bit grim and drab and run down. Maybe one day this part of the river, and the road that is a major route west out of the city towards Bristol, will get a facelift. A few extras included, but picked this one as main blip because it made me smile. I wonder if the postie is still stopping off at this luxurious abode or if, like much else in an area most people only ever 'drive by',  it's now abandoned.
