Maschen Marshalling Yard

On our way back from Hamburg we made a detour to see Europe's largest marshalling yard near Maschen. We wanted to see some real trains, not only model ones.
Unfortunately it was raining again and the bridge over the yard was still blocked, after more than 4 years. "Under construction".
Nevertheless the blip should give an idea of the sheer size, showing approximately half of the width of the yard.
