Lichen

The sun was shining bright, the temperature was around 15°C, so everything called for a hike. I took my camera with me, hoping to see something small for the Tiny Tuesday challenge (thanks to Pinkhairedlady for hosting!).
The optional theme was something from the natural world. In springtime you will see a lot of plants growing, trying to get as much sunlight as possible.
But alas, it is still winter, so not too many wee little blooms and buds. However, the sun shining on nice orange lichen, how's that for a change?
