Red Lichen

It seems this is my 4000th blip. Who knew? Well actually I did. I’m traveling so I can only use photos I took with my phone. So no baby alligators, no anhinga drying his feathers. But yes to catching a photo of the red lichen on the trees here at Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge.

Shelly and I are in the middle of our trip east. Tomorrow we fly from warm Florida to chilly New York. We’ve been having a great time. Today we packed. When we were done Rona drove us to Loxahatchee. We saw baby alligators, visited the visitor’s center and walked the Cypress Loop boardwalk. Fun place to take photos. Tonight we are eating Cuban, my treat. It’s been a good visit.
