The Lido

The Lido café by the Serpentine has been refurbished with a new operator so it was a must visit today. The rain and wind had kept the hoards at bay but there was a reasonable number of diners. I can confirm that the veggie vegan burger was delicious and the chicken wing and fish bites for starters were very tasty.

I shall be back. Good luck to them for the new venture. It's now a destination for lunch. And the breakfasts looked good too but we were too late for them.

Before that I went on a tour of Drapers Hall in the City - fascinating to get into a building and see behind the facade. Later the RGS did a talk on a sailing circumnavigation of the Arctic. The ice is melting, aaaaagh.
