My new granddaughter...

...came into the world last night at 10:30 p.m., weighing 7 lbs. 10oz., 21” long, & sporting a full head of beautiful, thick, black hair. Mom, Dad & baby Noelia are all doing great. Tom, Mae & I went to visit them after we’d picked Mae up from school, & it was sweet to watch Mae keeping her distance at first, but getting braver & braver until she finally asked if she could hold her. I propped pillows all around her and Jennie laid her sister in her arms, & the look on Mae’s face was so full of wonder! When Mae was born I posted a picture of her tiny fingers wrapped around Jennie’s finger, so this one seemed appropriate for today’s blip....Noelia’s fingers along with Mae & Jennie’s. :)))
