Working & Playing

I believe you've seen this fella before, but always worth another shot. He was playing great old swing tunes this morning. I noticed folk of my sort of generation steering towards him.

I'm in the midst of re-reading Vasily Grossman's " Stalingrad " and enjoying it as much the 2nd time as the first.
I checked out today when Hilary Mantel's 3rd volume of her Biography of Thomas Cromwell is being published. Having just re-read the other 2, I'm so looking forward to it. I will not be buying it on Amazon. Having watched the Panorama prog on the company I will not be buying from them again.
