A Different Perspective

Another crocus today, this time from my garden and shot from above. A practical day today, getting a quote for internal doors, a visit to Howdens to look at said doors, a collection of furniture by a charity (one piece taken,  two left as dark wood), arranging for another charity to collect the Stag Minstrel pieces, moving a picture to fit in with new furniture and so on.

The name Crocus is derived from the Latin adjective crocatus, meaning saffron yellow. The Greek word for “saffron” is krokos.
