The skies are big today

Mostly a day near my office today. Getting office things done.

Went to get the mail on my walk home for lunch and I noticed the big sky with decorator clouds added for effect. The outside temperature is +7C right now, a beautiful day. At that rate the snow won’t stick around much longer.

Feels like spring is on the way.

That’s nice but it also makes the farmers nervous. Another bad growing season and some of them might lose their farms. Word came this morning that one farmer has to sell. May not be able to pay off his debts.

For young farmers the margins are slim and the risk can be high.

Hoping for a good year.
