On the Te Araroa Trail

I went for a walk this morning in the rain.  There were very few people on the path. This guy means business.  I guess he is heading up to the top of the North Island, as this track is part of the Te Araroa Trail.  It is 3,000 k's long, so he still has a long way to go!  It takes about 4 months all up.
Te Araroa means 'The Long Path'.

It has stopped raining, so I took a short walk to the lake and back again.

Another Friday, so another weekend.  I hope yours is a good one.
